For parents concerned about their toddler's social and cognitive development, the Autism Center for Children provides early assessment and diagnosis -- at the earliest possible signs of detection -- for the most immediate, profound and lasting improvement in their quality of life. We treasure your kids and your family.
Dr. Crittendon is a licensed clinical psychologist, Ph.D., CPBA-AP®, BCBA-D, and the head of our center for autism. Her specialty is infant-toddler diagnostic assessment and early intervention with children diagnosed with autism. Empirical studies have proven that early diagnosis and early treatment can lead to the greatest positive outcomes for children with autism. She and her expert staff embrace that mission and specialize in the most compassionate and effective progressive ABA services available.
Atlanta’s premier clinic for early assessment and diagnosis specializes in toddlers only, so our wait lists for assessment are often shorter than those of other clinics.
Signs of autism can be subtle in toddlers, so it's ideal that your child be assessed by someone who specializes in what autism looks like in very young children. Parents consistently say that we connected with them, took time and care to make sure that all of their questions were answered, and made an emotional day as stress-free as possible.

Dr. Crittendon was also honored to serve as one of a select group of ABA subject matter experts worldwide to contribute to the development of the CPBA-AP®. She is the first in the state of Georgia to be certified with this esteemed new credential.
